A.S.C.E.N.D. – Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

ASCEND^SM is a free program, designed to motivate, engage and assist high school students (grades: 9-12) in reaching their maximum potential. ASCEND^SM will focus on Achievement, Self-Awareness, Communication, Engagement, Networking and Developmental Skills. Students in the ASCEND^SM Program will have an opportunity to receive academic enrichment and life skills training to support their journey to college or vocational employment.

Locally, we have implementing exciting opportunities in Leadership, International Partnerships with students in Uganda, Job Placement and Career Planning, Public Speaking, Etiquette Workshops and more.

The Fall 2017 Cohort Application Deadline is Monday, October 2, 2017
The Opening session for the Fall 2017 Cohort will take place on Saturday, October 28, 2017 in Oakland, CA.
